Sunday, June 24, Chicago. Benefit Dinner for Solidarity Bridge
Our last dinner while in Chicago will be an intimate culinary journey across Bolivia and Paraguay, utilizing locally sourced ingredients celebrating the rich culinary traditions of these two South American countries. The proceeds from this private dinner will go to Solidarity Bridge, a non-profit organization based out of Chicago that builds a healthier future for the people of Bolivia and Paraguay through domestic and international partnerships. We train and equip their medical communities, empowering them to provide high-complexity surgery and other health care for those living in poverty.
Latin American pop-up dinner party in an Artist Space
Join us for an intimate dinner party exploring the flavors, aromas and culture of Latin America while highlighting local and indigenous ingredients from the great American midwest. Dinner party will be held at Open House Contemporary, (OHC) an amazing art gallery/condo in the River West neighborhood. Sample menu to come. MEarth’s Sustainable Chef Series dinners are a one-of-a-kind dining experience at the award-winning, 10-acre Hilton Bialek Habitat environmental education center at the mouth of Carmel Valley. Each month, the series features a local chef who will create a sustainable feast for 30 lucky attendees. Guests enjoy produce grown just steps away in the surrounding organic gardens or sourced directly from small farms in our region. Best efforts are made to source all proteins locally and sustainably to ensure the highest quality and minimal impact on the environment.

This year Chef Diego Felix will travel across the US creating spontaneous, unrepeatable dining experiences in private homes and venues.
Armed with Messermeister knives and the rich culinary traditions of Latin America, we will be preparing dinner parties with cocktails, passed appetizers and four course menu’s paired with South American wines in the comfort of people’s own homes.
