JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for passionate individuals interested in hospitality and food to work alongside the chef and owner execute Latin American inspired menu’s and service for a range of intimate dinner parties to larger scaled weddings. You will work closely with owner and chef and learn how to operate in a small, mobile restaurant setting using your passion for food and hospitality to not only create fantastic meals, but a welcome atmosphere for guests. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about Latin American food culture and South American wines. This is a great match for those who like to work both in back and front of the house, each team member must be able to seamlessly float between the two especially in the smaller events. Each event is unique and team must be willing to improvise and think quickly.

Basic Duties Include:

  • Food Preparation
  • Set up and break down of buffets or other special food service tables and equipment
  • Loading and unloading of kitchen equipment, wines, coolers, etc. (must be able to lift 40 lbs).
  • Customer Service, interacting with guests, explaining dishes, serving food and beverages.
  • Event clean up, most important aspect of most any event, small or large, is leaving the space as clean as to how we found it! Constant cleaning throughout events and at the end is essential.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • ServeSafe required before first event.
  • Able to lift 40lbs.
  • Must have experience in hospitality and food.
  • Spanish Language a PLUS

COMPENSATION

This position is paid hourly and depends on experience.
